“Vodka”

A girl attends a university house party. The drinks are flowing and she is flirting with a stranger, under the encouragement of her friends that want her to let loose and have fun. Soon the audience learns that this man that her friends have entrusted with her safety may not have good intentions.
‘Vodka’ is the story of a girl (F), who is attending a university house party. The drinks are flowing, she is flirting with a stranger (M), under the encouragement of her friends that want her to let loose and have fun. Then the audience is faced with the harsh reality of spiking and we learn that this man that her friends have entrusted with F’s safety may not have good intentions.
The play explores how friends have a responsibility to protect each other, and what happens when this responsibility is neglected. It also explores the divide and interlinking between the masculine and feminine spheres in society.
At its core, ‘Vodka’ serves as a chilling reminder that these are real situations that happen to real people, with F simply serving as an archetype for anyone trying to navigate the world of drinking and dating.
