Katniss Everdeen’s terrible life is only getting worse. Stuck in the impoverished District 12 of the dystopian country of Panem, she’s been selected to fight to the death in the Hunger Games, a public pageant that leaves one sole victor alive. This time, though… she’s gonna sing about it! The Girl on Fire is a parody musical of the 2012 film The Hunger Games, adapted from Suzanne Collins’ book of the same name, part of Music Theatre Warwick’s 'Stagefest'.
Our show is a 2 Act Musical, including a short interval in the middle. As is usual with MTW's Stagefest Revue shows, our cast will be singing pre existing musical theatre songs throughout our show (requiring backing tracks that we can provide), as well as featuring some amazing dance numbers! As well as this, throughout our show we will be using projection / a screen to display pre-recorded video to our audience. Our show features 12 songs, and a cast of 12 bringing silly musical fun to the WSAF stage.
