“Jpop Idol Dance”
We are hoping to perform several Japanese pop culture dance covers.
Hi,
My friend and I are Warwick students and we have recently formed a J-pop idol dance group called Sweet Tyrant. We mainly perform dance covers of Japanese pop culture songs, including anime songs, Vocaloid songs, and idol group songs.
We have previously performed at Chinese festival galas and several dance showcases, and we would love to bring an energetic J-pop/idol-style performance to WSAF. For this proposal, we are hoping to perform a short dance cover set featuring popular songs such as *At God’s Mercy* by Hatsune Miku and *Diamond Shout* by AKB48.

SweetTyrant Idol Group
We are a student-led J-pop idol dance group based at the University of Warwick. We have previously performed at various student-led events and dance showcases at Warwick, and have built a small but growing audience on Chinese and international social media platforms. We hope to present an energetic and accessible dance performance that everyone can enjoy, and that audiences can even dance along with.
