“stay in the light, my dear”

I will be performing a medley of the songs 'Echo of My Shadow' by Aurora, 'soleil soleil' by Pomme, and 夜闌人靜 by moon tang. All three songs long for light in some way (whether it's the sun or as a metaphor for love), yet they also linger in the darker seasons or nighttimes where quietness and reflection blossom. All three languages mean something to me, and I hope by singing songs from different languages, different worlds can be brought together. Through soft melodies and lyrics, I want to invite the audience to sit with the different shades of life and share in a collective human longing for love and light. All in all, this medley is my love song to the world. The submission title is a lyric from 'Echo of My Shadow' by Aurora.
