“Eternal Flame”

It's 1542, Amy is getting engaged on her father's advice when she spots Rebecca, the most wonderful woman she has ever seen. Rebecca is immortal and has suffered much heartbreak. At that moment, the pair realise they are destined to be each other's soulmate, but Amy must marry to her betrothed. Rebecca offers Amy the chance to be with her if she becomes immortal. Amy takes the chance. While the timeline is generally linear it's rather epic in style, metatheatrical and rather fun with elements of comedy and the more serious elements with a touch of realism, it transcends traditional form in a way that allows it the fluidity it needs to cover such a vast time-scape.
